This is a project I did for a User Interface class during my last year at college. As this was for a UI class the main focus was on the interface of the website and not as much on the branding elements but honestly I had as good a time working on the branding as I did on the interface. The objective of this project was to create an interface from scratch for a website that had a home page and an article page.

For the subject of this website I went for a music blog/review site as music, and more specifically vinyl collecting, is a passion of mine. The name of the website, “Cracked Future Records” is inspired by imagery of a broken vinyl record. This imagery can be seen as well in the logo. The line paper background is used to evoke a feeling of authenticity when scrolling.
